Why Hello, Pumpkin
I have been creating art for more than 25 years and has been teaching professionally since 2017. In 2005, I graduated with a double major in Art and Anthropology, and have explored a wide variety of artistic mediums, including painting, stained glass, sculpture, embroidery, and murals. While I loves experimenting with many forms of art, painting has always been my favorite.
I believe art should be joyful, approachable, and good for the soul. I love working with bright, whimsical colors and creating a relaxed environment where everyone feels welcome—especially those who insist they "aren't artistic." My classes focus on enjoying the process rather than striving for perfection, because there are no art critics at paint night—just people having fun and discovering what they can create.
Whether I'm demonstrating a new brushstroke, sharing techniques students can use beyond class, or offering one-on-one encouragement, My greatest joy is helping people gain confidence, try something new, and leave with a smile and a painting they're proud of.
